MassTEC Mission Statement
This collaborative and its members believe in the power and promise of Technology/Engineering Education as part of a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering Mathematics) program, as well as the national priority for Technological Literacy (Standards for Technological Literacy). We support an on-going evaluation and implementation of benchmarks and standards of the Massachusetts Science and Technology/Engineering Curriculum Framework. We believe that partnerships with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Engineering schools and organizations, and the International Technology and Engineering Educators Association (ITEEA) will enhance formal technology/engineering studies through professional development and professional opportunities. We will identify and support activities that lead to continued improvement of technology/engineering programs.

We help students understand the human-made world.
